Finance Assistant
Full Time 37 hours per week
£25,051 per annum (rising to £26,303 from 1st April)
We are looking for an organised and detail‑focused Finance Assistant to support our Finance Team. This role keeps our purchase ledger accurate, manages payments, and assists with month‑end, reporting and audit preparation-helping us deliver vital services to people at risk of homelessness.
What you’ll do:
· Process supplier invoices and payments using QuickBooks and AI‑enabled tools
· Maintain accurate accounts payable and general ledger records
· Prepare payment runs (BACS, faster payments, petty cash)
· Resolve invoice and payment queries
· Support month‑end, year‑end and audit tasks
What we’re looking for:
Strong Microsoft Office skills, experience of processing invoices/payments, excellent communication and organisational abilities, strong accuracy and attention to detail.
