At Path, we work alongside people facing homelessness to support them to secure and sustain accommodation and rebuild their futures. Our Finance team plays a vital role in ensuring the organisation runs smoothly and sustainably.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Assistant or Accountants Assistant who’s ready to broaden their skills within a small, supportive and hands‑on finance team.
Working closely with our Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of the finance function. This is a varied role where you’ll get involved in:
Reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting month‑end processes
Helping to ensure strong financial controls
Pitching in with transactional processing when needed to keep everything moving

About you
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in a finance role (e.g. Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant)
Has demonstrable experience beyond purely transactional processing, with exposure to broader finance or accounting tasks
Holds AAT Level 3 or has demonstrable practical financial experience
You’ll also be:
Organised, methodical and detail‑focused
A strong team player who’s happy to get stuck in
