Path Tenancy Training
This practical training is designed for professionals and volunteers who support people to access and sustain private rented accommodation.
About our Training
It provides a clear overview of tenancy types, legal rights and responsibilities, landlord expectations, and the impact of the Renters Rights Act, helping staff to confidently guide individuals through the renting process. The session also explores how tenancies end, what to do if someone receives notice, and the differences between tenancies and licence agreements.
Participants will gain hands-on knowledge to support people with affordability, Local Housing Allowance, deposits, and budgeting, as well as preparing for property viewings and understanding shared housing. The training focuses on real-life application, equipping attendees with the skills to help individuals find, secure, and maintain a tenancy, reduce the risk of eviction, and promote long-term housing stability.
