How it works
We carry out a housing needs assessment for our PRAS clients, looking at their options and aiming to support them to gain their own tenancy. One of the ways we can do this is by providing a Deposit Guarantee (DG) where people cannot otherwise afford a deposit to secure a property.
A Deposit Guarantee is a written agreement between Path and the landlord or agent. It guarantees that, if at the end of a tenancy there are any rent arrears and/or damage, Path will reimburse the landlord up to the agreed value of the guarantee.
The guarantee secures both rent arrears and damages.
